2010 CALIFORNIA CLAY COMPETITION

The Artery, home of the Artists’ Cooperative of Davis, has sponsored the Competition since 1990 to give California ceramic artists an opportunity to display their work during the California Conference for the Advancement of Ceramic Art. The Artery is within walking distance of the John Natsoulas Gallery, which serves as conference headquarters. Many area galleries will hold artists’ receptions for ceramics exhibits on the evening of May 1 including the Natsoulas Gallery’s Thirty Ceramic Sculptors.

The competition is open to all living California artists. Works accepted must be for sale, available for the duration of the exhibit, and made within the last two years.
