For the first time at the Artery, Marie will be showing her figure drawings along with her paintings that capture California at its best. To prepare for this show she painted every day either in her studio or in the field.

 

Marie enjoys plein air painting because it is a challenge to render natural light's luminous effect. Look for favorite local scenes and expressive images from her travels along the coast to Santa Barbra and San Diego. Highlight October 9 on your calendar so you won't miss Marie's reception.
