Paula Wenzl Bellacera and Joseph Bellacera
"FUR AND FEATHERS, HEAVEN AND EARTH"
Sculpture and Paintings
Reception: Friday, March 10, 2017, 7:00pm - 9:00 pm

This husband and wife exhibition will include a menagerie of Paula Bellacera’s animal sculptures, each with a distinct personality. Rabbits, owls, foxes, along with other creatures are her focus for this show.

With a background as a painter, print maker, and photographer, Paula Wenzl Bellacera now sculpts charming ceramic animals and birds, each with a distinct personality. A barn owl is caught in flight.

A bunny looks up with a quizzical expression,

and a red fox stretches as if relaxing in a forest clearing. These are a few of her delightful creations.

Joseph's abstract paintings capture the spirit of a scene and the way luminosity and space project a sense of infinity.

He captures the warmth, solidity and texture of the earth as it contrasts with the ethereal heavens. As Joseph states, "It is my intention that these combinations provide an opportunity to renew the mystery and awe of discovery."

Joseph Bellacera will be exhibiting his abstract paintings which capture the spirit of a scene and the way luminosity and space project a sense of infinity.
