After a 23 year career as a graphic designer, I fell into mosaics in 2006 just for fun. Since then I have created both @ine art commissions and public art installations in the San Francisco Bay Area as well as across the US. People enjoy my designs and I @ind deep grati@ication in that. I’ve worked in many different art media and @ind mosaics to be very expressive. Using glass, I can create @luid lines that move the eye through the piece. The colors are caught in light in one area but hide in shadow in another. I enjoy having the viewer settle into my pieces so they can discover the subtleties of light and shadow. Light re@lects here, refracts there, always evolving with the changing atmosphere.

For fifty years, The Artery has been a dynamic hub of artistic expression and community collaboration. As a proud cooperative, we have nurtured countless talents and celebrated diverse artistic visions since our founding in 1974.

We're thrilled to announce our new monthly Spotlight Artist program, launching this March 2024! We invite artists to submit their work for consideration, offering a chance to showcase their creations in our gallery and beyond.

How to Apply

Interested artists can request the submission form here. Once submitted, your work will undergo a screening process for approval. Please note that the medium, style, or theme should align with our commitment to offering a diverse range of artistic expressions.
