Kate’s work is inspired by her passion for combing the coast line for unexpected discoveries. Handcrafted, each singular sea jewel is wrapped in gold and silver creating unique timeless treasures. Sea glass and metal smithing came together after a weekend class bezel setting. Having a background in art and working many years as a graphic designer she craved working in a more tactile environment. As an avid sea glass collector pairing my love of bezel setting with these beautiful sea jewels evolved organically. Each piece of sea glass hand-picked from the beach creates compelling and unique pieces of jewelry that are symbolic of herself as an artist.
