The gemstones and crystals she used in the particular Tree of Life are Apatite, Peridot, White pearls, Moonstone, Pyrite and pretty blue and green crystals and glass beads. Meg has been making jewelry since 1975. She apprenticed with Elfstone Jewelers in Cape Cod, Mass. From the first day, Meg knew she had found what she wanted to do for the rest of her life. All it took was taking up a torch and learning to solder bezels. In 1978, Meg and her husband, Randy, moved to Davis where she taught jewelry making at the Silo Craft Center and joined the Artery. In 1984, they moved to Nevada City where they now reside. Jewelry making is a passion for Meg. She loves to use colorful gems and gemstones. She likes to try out new ideas and enjoys working with unusual gemstones.
